Get Involved!
Habitat for Humanity of Cleveland is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. We seek to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from our county, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
Don't forget about becoming a Volunteer! Habitat for Humanity of Cleveland seeks to provide families in our community with decent and affordable homes. This process is only possible through the contribution of habitat volunteers.
Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need. Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit, and financed with affordable, no-interest loans. However, Habitat is not a give-away program. In addition to a down payment and the monthly mortgage payments, the homeowners invest hundreds of hours of their own labor - sweat equity - into building their own Habitat home and the homes of others. If you would like more historical or background information about Habitat of Cleveland, please contact us!
Volunteers are the life blood of Habitat for Humanity of Cleveland. Without volunteers we would cease to exist.

Success Story
“It was Jeneda’s dream to own her own home. However, as a single mother of three children she didn’t think she would ever be able to. Then Jeneda applied to Habitat and her dream became reality.”
